Several gay-friendly or 100% gay events are organized in Maspalomas throughout the year, all taking place at the Yumbo Center, a unique shopping mall, the heart of gay life in the Canaries.

MUSIC MEETS TOURISM: June 12-15, 2025.
This multidisciplinary festival combines music, tourism, gastronomy, and fashion in a unique setting. This event includes performances by bands and DJs, a talent show, a fashion show, and a food market with food trucks.

FETISH PRIDE MASPALOMAS 2025: October 3-12, 2025
Strong Construction is the fetish institution at the Yumbo Center, hosting the kinkiest nightlife of the event. During these 10 days, enjoy the sun, the pool, and the beach during the various events organized, and at night, live out your fetishes to the fullest in our bar.

WINTER PRIDE MASPALOMAS 2025: November 10-16, 2025
While the weather is grey in Europe, come enjoy the sun and a week of live shows and outdoor parties, day and night, in the company of thousands of guys of different nationalities. More recent than the May Gay Pride, its attendance is growing rapidly. And after the shows, come have fun at Strong Construction.

MASPALOMAS CARNIVAL: March 3-15, 2026
Put on your best costume and come enjoy our carnival in the sun! This is the most international and largest carnival celebration on the island, where the status of the Drag Queens showcases the island’s very gay-friendly character. And after dancing, jumping, and singing to the music, head to Strong Construction to warm up the night.
Every year, between late February and mid-March, Maspalomas is decked out in a thousand colours to celebrate Carnival. For over a week, the streets are filled with colour and joy, and the Yumbo Center stage becomes the center of the event, transforming the city into a huge party, an example of warmth and tolerance.

BEAR CARNIVAL: March 19-29, 2026
The 100% gay bear gathering, BEAR CARNIVAL, in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria, where thousands of guys from all over the world gather. You’ll enjoy 10 days and nights of parties, fun, and much more. Escape the cold of the Nordic winter to meet friendly bears and chasers at Strong Construction after enjoying the party program prepared by the event organizers.

MASPALOMAS PRIDE by FREEDOM: May 1-11, 2025
Maspalomas Gay Pride, held at the Yumbo Center, is one of the largest and longest pride events in Europe. Thousands of guys gather for incredible outdoor parties held day and night.
